Troubled Business Relying on Unpaid Workers, Vendors, and Taxes

Vertex Systems (“Vertex”) is a Canadian refurbished enterprise hardware reseller in Canada with numerous issues such as, but not limited to:

  • Unpaid or underpaid vendors, employees, and other creditors;
  • Collecting GST and withholding payroll source deductions (i.e., the taxes that get taken off employees’ paycheques) without reporting some of them and remitting to the government (CRA). Vertex’s owners spend these funds to feed their generous litigation fund to discourage vendors, employees, and other credits from collecting money owed, and to feed their lavish lifestyles. Furthermore, these funds are used also to feed a litigation fund to artificially bolster a positive image – to discourage negative press/media, including negative online reviews on other platforms.

This independent website is intended to provide factual information to the public about Vertex and its principal owner and director, Mark McVea of Edmonton, Alberta – unaffected by their generous litigation fund to try to otherwise conceal their problems.

We rely on available information such as that from:

  • Courts,
  • Government of Canada, Government of Alberta, and other Government departments, and
  • That provided from previous employees and vendors when available.

Note ongoing circumstances change; the list of ongoing creditors and hidden CRA debt likely has grown or otherwise changed since this site was last updated. This site will be updated as information becomes available. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend searching the Courts, registry, questioning vendors and employees (both current and past), etc.

If you are a prospective or current creditor, before extending Vertex or Mark McVea any credit or leniency to pay their liabilities, we recommend rigorously testing any information provided by Vertex or Mark McVea, or a current employee or agent from either.

If Vertex or Mark McVea owe you money and collection efforts to-date have failed, we recommend taking legal action immediately, especially if you are a CRA agent or former employee reading this page.
